Navajo Trail to Queen's Garden - Sunset Point to Sunrise Point May 2017 The "Wall Street" portion of the Navajo Trail loop was closed, so we hiked down the open portion of the trail starting at Sunset Point and then continued the trail to Queen's Garden and back up at Sunrise Point. Although the hike wasn't more that three miles, it was a bit difficult. I'd guess it was a combination of the high elevation that we aren't used to (about 8,000 feet) and the elevation change of the hike (about 600 feet). It was completely worth it, though.
Mossy Cave Trail
May 2017 The cave is NOT the attraction here; the water is! Due to the snowmelt, there was a lot of water flowing on this short trail (less than a mile round-trip). We thought it was a great "bang for your buck" trail with all the beautiful rock formations, abundant green plants and trees, light jade green water, and and amazing waterfall. This trail is outside of the actual park, so there is no shuttle access.
